A teenager has drowned while swimming in Rupandehi.
On Wednesday, 17-year-old Sail Ansari, who has a permanent home in India, was found in a water park in Siddharthnagar in the district, said DSP Suraj Karki, spokesperson of District Police Office Rupandehi.
Ansari drowned while swimming in the swimming pool on Wednesday. The police said that he was taken to Bhima Hospital for treatment after drowning and was declared dead by the hospital.
