44-year-old Lum Bahadur Rawat Bharuwa of Banglachuli Rural Municipality-3 Lekhtapa was arrested with a gun.
Based on a special information that illegal weapons and valuables were hidden in the house, the police team under the command of Police Inspector Som Gharti Magar recovered a loaded gun while searching Rawat's house on Thursday.
After the gun was found, Rawat was detained and investigated by the district court with an extension of seven days, the spokesman of the district police office DSP Chakra Bahadur Shah has informed.
