Tilveer Gaha of Sri Danda, Tinau Rural Municipality-3 is very happy to live in a new house. Earlier, the house was about to collapse, but he was unable to build the house as he was helpless. He said that the house built with the help of the ward office in Tinau Rural Municipality-3, Jhumsa will withstand rain, clouds, sun and rain.

Ramkali Wik of Tinau Rural Municipality-3, Kai Jamire is also very happy to live in a new house. As there was no one to support her, she shed tears of joy that the ward office built and handed over a house. "I am happy to help the destitute like me," she said.

Not only Gaha and Vik, Tinau Rural Municipality-3, Jhumsa Ward, 12 helpless and poor families have been built and handed over new houses. Under the campaign 'Garibko Ghar Wardko Bhar' which started from the financial year 2076/77, a new one-storied house has been built to improve the atmosphere.

Under the same campaign, two poor families have been able to live in a new house in the current financial year. Ward President Chitra Bahadur Thapa said that a new house was built and handed over from the ward office with the help of two lakhs per house. "We have also continued the campaign started by the elected representatives in 2074," he said.

Ward member Tankanath Basyal said that the Jhumsa Ward Office has constructed and handed over a one-storied concrete house to the economically disadvantaged in the current financial year under the annual approved program. 

According to him, the previous government was handing over houses with the help of 150,000 per house. He said that the ward government formed after the election of 2079 will build houses with financial support of two lakhs per household with labor donation. Ward member Basyal said that the decision made by the previous ward work committee has been continued and the house has been built.

Hari Pandey of Basantpur, Ramkali Wick of Jamire, Phoolmaya Wick, Hari Khamcha of Firpire, Dhan Bahadur Darlami and Bhim Bahadur Saru of Jamire got a new house. Tuk Bahadur Disha from Bhootkhola in Tinau and Gangadevi Sunar from Jamire got to live in a new house.

With the belief that the local government in the ward should support financially poor and helpless families, the houses are being built by allocating the budget and donating labor from the locals and people's representatives, said the ward chairman Thapa.

Former ward president Prem Prasad Pandey said that after the local government makes a safe place for families who have no source of income, the problem of having to live outside with the help of others will be solved. "We are happy to continue the program we started," he said, "this campaign has brought a lot of relief to the poor."
