The Border Indian Murtiha Range Post has issued an arrest warrant against Hari Prasad Paswan, Ward President of Gulria Municipality-9. An arrest warrant has been issued against him under the Indian Forest Crime Register (H1) criminal act.

Similarly, Ward President Paswan said that a warrant has been issued against Anil Yadav of Gularia-9 on the charge of forest crime. The Indian forest workers have accused them of smuggling. Ward President Paswan said that Indian forest guards filed a false case against them after they raised their voices against beating and ill-treatment of Nepali citizens. Ward president Paswan said that because he raised his voice against it as a representative of the people, he issued an arrest warrant on false charges because he was illegally charging money for cutting grass and firewood in Indian forests.

Armed Police Superintendent Man Bahadur Shahi of Armed Police Force No. 31 said that he has received information that arrest warrants have been issued against Ward President Paswan and Yadav. In this regard, he said that he is coordinating with his Indian counterpart.
