Chief Minister of Lumbini Province Chetnarayan Acharya has said that the next budget will be prepared keeping the prosperity and development of the province at the center.

Chief Minister Acharya said that the budget will address the priorities raised by the current policies and programs while addressing the policy dialogue program on government reform, economic development and youth entrepreneurship organized in Deukhuri, Rapti Valley, in coordination with the Office of the Chief Minister and Council of Ministers.

``Government has brought policies and programs with a lot of effort. We bring the budget standing on its foundation. At present, work has progressed in this direction at the ministerial level,'' Chief Minister Acharya said, ``Policy and program and budget are interrelated with each other. The work has progressed to connect each other.

Chief Secretary Baburam Adhikari presided over the program, Minister of Economic Affairs and Planning of Lumbini Province Dhanendra Karki said that attention will be given to increasing resources in Lumbini.

Former Finance Secretary Rameshwar Khanal mentioned that there is immense potential in the fields of agriculture, industry, trade, tourism, renewable energy and mining and said that Lumbini can be made an economic center by implementing strong policies.

Former Secretary Krishna Gyawali suggested that priority should be given to promoting good governance to strengthen the province. He said that it is necessary to practice virtue while improving law, conscience and conduct. Pukar Malla, chairman of

responsibility campaign, expressed the opinion that emphasis should be placed on enterprise-focused job creation. In the program, Kavindra Nepal, Chief Minister of Lumbini Province and Secretary of the Cabinet Office, informed that the policy dialogue will be continued in a phased manner by discussing the issues of public interest and concern and taking suggestions and modifications.
