Two women were arrested with illegal drugs from Ghorahi and Tulsipur. Ghorahi sub-metropolitan city- A woman was arrested on Monday when the police raided a shop based on a tip-off that drug dealing was going on at 14 Milan Chowk.

The arrested person is 63-year-old Mayadevi Vick, who hails from Thawang Rural Municipality-1, Rolpa and is currently living at Milan Chowk, said Police Inspector Kaviraj Rokaye of the District Police Office, Dang. He said that during a search of Vic's house, 9 kg, 820 grams of marijuana and 53 grams of hashish were recovered from his bedroom.

Similarly, the police team deployed on the basis of the information that drug brown sugar is being traded in Tulsipur sub-metropolitan city-7 Shivnagar arrested 21-year-old Pratibha Vishwakarma on Monday during the check.

Tulsipur sub-metropolitan city-4 Rokay said that 260 milligrams of brown sugar-like powder was recovered from Vishwakarma's house, Ghornethi. He informed that further investigation is going on after taking them into custody.
