General Secretary of Nepal Communist Party Netra Vikram Chand has said that the republic is an epoch-making change for the people of Nepal. He said that the republic that came after the people's movement after the great struggle of thousands of people was a new achievement in the political field.

Speaking at an interaction on republicanism, people's journalism and the role of Krishna Sen willing, held in Butwal on Thursday, he said that all Nepalese deserve thanks for this achievement as the Nepalese people came to this day after they left their place to end the feudal era. He said that Krishna Sen's contribution to the establishment of the republic was unforgettable.

He said that it is enough for the Nepali people to reach the level of inclusiveness and proportional federalism when they reach the republic.  'But not being able to completely end feudalism is a great weakness of the republic,' he said, 'people are suffering from the transitional period caused by feudalism.'

He said that Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli's slogan of 'Prosperous Nepal, Happy Nepali' should be changed to have a self-reliant economy and self-reliant citizens.

He said that since the economic situation of Nepal is facing a crisis, the economic crisis is occurring because the products produced by every people are marketed and the government does not make a policy to use those products in the country and only imported products are being used.
