Siddharth Nagar municipality of Ruppandehi has been declared as a sustainable municipality with full institutional maternity services as well as full vaccination assurance.
In a program held on Tuesday, Mayor Istiaq Ahmed Khan announced the sustainability of complete institutional delivery and immunization to the municipality.
Chief Khan thanked the health workers and women health volunteers who work regularly and provide health services easily for making this work a success. He said that since the municipality did not announce it just for the sake of announcement, they paid attention to its sustainable implementation.
Ensuring full immunization for the sustainability declaration, he said that all children between 16 to 59 months of age have been given all the vaccinations that should be given within 15 months of age. Speaking at the
program, Chief of District Coordination Committee Rupandehi and Chairman of District Vaccination Coordination Committee Umakant Chapai expressed his happiness that all municipalities of Rupandehi have taken this campaign seriously and implemented it.
'Positive actions related to health will provide more excellence to the municipality and citizens will get to feel the government, so it is necessary for the citizens and public representatives to move forward together in commendable work,' he said .
