The Lumbini state government has considered innovation as the main basis of development and has given it the highest priority and has proceeded with its implementation.
Chief Minister Chetnarayan Acharya speaking at the agreement program organized on Tuesday at the office of the Chief Minister and Council of Ministers in Rapti Valley (Deukhuri) for the implementation of the innovation program between the state government and seven local levels informed that the innovation plan has been implemented with the aim of strengthening federalism and making the province independent and capable.
Chief Minister Acharya expressed his belief that the innovation program will be an effective means to raise the standard of living of the citizens and said that priority has been given to programs such as transformation in agriculture, promotion of entrepreneurship and tourism, maximum use of information technology, improvement of the quality of school education and e-recommendation services to streamline service delivery . In addition, he emphasized on the result-oriented implementation, saying that the partnership between the state and the local level can take innovation to new heights.
In this regard, a formal agreement has been signed between the Chief Minister and Cabinet Office and seven local levels for the implementation of the innovation program. According to the agreement, the program "Responsibility for sustainable development and green economy: our partnership in the transformation of agriculture" will be conducted in Bardia's Thakurbaba municipality.
'Tansen Entrepreneurship and Tourism Development Program' will be conducted in Palpa's Tansen Municipality, 'Smart Mayadevi' in Rupandehi's Mayadevi Rural Municipality and 'Digital School Program' in Pyuthan's Sarumarani Rural Municipality.
'Entrepreneurship program along with tourism homestay promotion' in Ramgram municipality of Nawalparasi West, 'Information technology friendly education' in Chhatrakot rural municipality of Gulmi and 'E-recommendation service center for electronic governance' program will be conducted in Suddhodhan rural municipality of Rupandehi. The
agreement was made between the provincial program manager and the chief administrative officer of the relevant local level.
