While inaugurating the first district session of All Nepal Sports Federation close to Maoist in Sandhikhar on Friday, former Finance Minister Pun said that the government of the two major parties, Congress UML, has not done a single good thing and has not been able to maintain good governance. "We have traveled across the country with the campaign, wherever we have gone, there has been attraction, enthusiasm and awareness towards Maoists," he said, "People's hope, trust and confidence in Maoists is increasing. In the local level, state and union elections of 084, Maoist will fight alone without Congress/UML and bring majority.'
While doing a good job in maintaining good governance, he claimed that he got the immense love of the people because he came to the opposition and got a chance to take the political agenda to the people and raise the political agenda with the party president Pushpa Kamal Dahal. "The current government did not do a single good thing for ten months," he said, "Maoist's importance in the country and people increased."
