An Indian teenager who went missing after drowning in Tinau River was found dead on Friday. An Indian teenager who went swimming in Damside, Tinau Rural Municipality-3, went missing on Thursday.
The army team of the famous Mahindra Dal Gana of the Nepali Army found the body of 18-year-old teenager Soyab Ansari, a resident of Maharajgunj Nautanhawa, India, during a search operation in the Tinau River. According to local residents, Soyab went missing while swimming at the dam side of Tinau River near Siddharth Highway.
Five people along with their brothers and friends came to visit Butwal. Locals said that the team including Ansari, who went missing, had come to swim at the damside at Dobhan in Tinau river. Ansari, who had gone to swim in the Tinau River to beat the heat, drowned in the dam and disappeared. After being informed by friends, relatives, Nepali army, police and locals searched.
Due to the muddy water in the river, it was difficult to search for the missing person. According to the police, further investigation is underway in connection with the incident.
