After the bridge was washed away, there has been a road disconnection between the headquarters of Gularia and Barbardia Municipality for about 7 years.
The construction of 23 km paved road from Rammapur to Rajnawa in Gulria on the East-West Highway was completed four years ago. About one and a half million residents of the two municipalities have been affected due to the absence of the bridge. Although the budget for the construction of the bridge has been secured, the work of the public procurement process has not been able to proceed due to the delay.
