A specialist camp has been conducted in Purvkhola Rural Municipality of Palpa for patients who cannot reach big hospitals due to geographical difficulties. 451 patients suffering from various diseases have benefited from the camp, said Mohan Dhakal, head of health department of Purvkhola rural municipality.
305 women and 146 men were examined in the specialist health camp organized by Lumbini Province Health Directorate. 121 people with various skin diseases were examined in the camp. 41 people who had mental problems were examined.
66 gynecological patients, 182 physicians and 154 dental patients received services, Health Education Administrator Netra Aryal informed. Dr. Gynecologist at the camp. Dr. Shila Dhakal, Dentist. Srishti GC, Dr. Pravina Kanwar, Dr. Durga Surkhali, More than a dozen doctors including psycho-consultant Shanti Kamu provided services. Patients came to the camp from Ringnerah, Jamire, Jalpa, Birkot, Devinagar and other places to get expert services. 
Ale Bhupu Sainik Dental Pvt Ltd and CMC Nepal managed expert doctors in the camp coordinated by Purvkhola Rural Municipality. In the camp, departmental minister Khem Saru said that this camp is important for those who cannot go to the district and provincial hospitals due to geographical hardship and poverty.
Rural Municipality President Nun Bahadur Thapa said that the health camp with specialists has benefited those who cannot go for treatment.
