A young man has died in a road accident at Sunwal in West Nawalparasi. The accident occurred when a small vehicle hit a motorcycle numbered 26 P 2500 in Sunwal Municipality 9, Swathi under the Parasi-Sunwal road section.
According to DSP Veer Dutt Pant of District Police Office, Jeevan Yadav, 22 years old of Ramgram Municipality 1, died in the accident.
Injured Yadav died in District Hospital Parasi during treatment. The driver who hit the motorcycle is absconding.
Eyewitnesses said it was hit by a small car but the number could not be traced. The police said that the search for the vehicle involved in the collision is underway.
