Police have arrested nine people for gambling in Tulsipur. District Police Spokesperson DSP Chakra Bahadur Shah said that the police team reached the house of Min Bahadur Gharti in Tulsipur Sub-Metropolitan City-5, New Road on the basis of information that they were gambling and arrested them on Friday night.
He informed that Rs 46,645 in cash was recovered from them. Those arrested are 46-year-old Min Bahadur Gharti of Kapurkot Rural Municipality-4 of Salyan and currently living in Tulsipur-5, 51-year-old Nar Bahadur Shahi of Tulsipur-6, 44-year-old Nim Bahadur Bhandari of Tulsipur-8 and 40-year-old Bishnuprasad Nepali of Tulsipur-6.
Similarly, 37-year-old Vishwa Dagi of Tulsipur-8, 43-year-old Dil Bahadur Nepali of Tulsipur-6, 48-year-old Om Bahadur Thapa, 40-year-old Sher Bahadur Gharti of Tulsipur-5 and 42-year-old Prakash Bhusal of Tulsipur-7 have been arrested. DSP Shah said that they are being further investigated by the district court on Sunday with an extension of 5 days.
