Chief Minister of Lumbini Province, Chetnarayan Acharya, has said that small and piecemeal schemes will be discouraged in the next year's allocation budget from the provincial government. He said that the budget should be brought at three levels such that small and piecemeal plans are covered by the local government, medium plans are covered by the state government and large plans are covered by the federal government.

On Saturday, Chief Minister Acharya while inaugurating the black paper of the motor road connecting Dhankhola-Arghakhanchi Siddhara to Deurali-Harre in Siddhara and Sandhikhark-Gorusinge road to Chakla on Saturday, Chief Minister Acharya said that this road will connect half of the remote Shitaganga in Arghakhanchi with the provincial capital. He said that the provincial government is doing its homework to bring people-oriented schemes by allocating budgets for schemes that will show results. "Unpaved roads leading to villages are now being blacked," he said, "blacked roads run for twelve months, now we have to send vegetables and food items from villages to the market, including chickens, crabs, beans, eggs, and agricultural enterprises, and youths should become self-employed. For agricultural enterprises, the state government supports programs and budgets to increase agricultural production. This road will directly benefit the residents of Wards 9, 10 and 11 of Shitganga Municipality. He said that the development of the village should be achieved through economic prosperity by coordinating the three levels.

He claims that since roads are the main basis of development, the local people should protect the roads of their villages and the provincial government is planning to raise the standard of living of the citizens.
