Police have arrested eight people in Tulsipur on the charge of gambling. Narendra KC, who lives in Tulsipur sub-metropolitan city-11 and currently rents a room in Shiv Hitan's house near Gumrahchowk in Tulsipur-6, was playing gambling, the police arrested them on Wednesday night.
Among those arrested are Khum Bahadur Wali, 24, of Tulsipur-10, Pramod Giri, 30, of Tulsipur-12, Omprakash Chaudhary, 21, Himraj Shahi, 27, of Tulsipur-11, Nirajan Khadka, 22, of Tulsipur-10, Arjun Vick, 23, of Tulsipur-13 and Tilakram KC, 32, of Tulsipur-16.
DSP Anil Thakuri, head of Tulsipur area police office, said that 26,865 rupees in cash and cash were recovered from them. Thakuri informed that they are being detained and further investigation is underway.
