The husband was killed by his wife's chirpat attack in Banglachuli Rural Municipality.
District Police Chief SP Arjun Prasad Timilsina said that 50-year-old Sangeeta Sunari Magar of Banglachuli Rural Municipality-7 Haldi killed her 65-year-old husband Punaram Sunari Magar on Tuesday during a domestic dispute.
He said that Punaram died on the spot due to Chirpat attack. Timilsina informed that Sangeeta was arrested and investigation started.
He said that in the preliminary investigation, Sangita had given a statement that her husband hit her with a chirpa when she tried to force him after drinking alcohol.
