A teenager died on Saturday while swimming in a dam located in Haspura, Tulsipur sub-metropolitan city-18.

District Police Office Tulsipur said that 16-year-old Bhupendra Bik, who had gone to swim with his friends in the artificial lake built in the community forest area, died in Triveni Rural Municipality-9 Sisneri, Rukum West, and was currently living temporarily in Tulsipur for his studies. 

DSP Anil Thakuri, Chief of Area Police Office Tulsipur, said that the body was taken to Provincial Hospital Tulsipur for autopsy.
