The driver was injured when a stone fell on a moving tractor near Nayapati, Tansen Municipality-8, Palpa under Siddharth Highway. According to the police, 22-year-old Dan Bahadur Kumal, resident of Rainadevi Chhahara Rural Municipality-2, Somadi, was injured when a stone suddenly fell on a tractor number 904 from Butwal towards Palpa.
Vinod Kumar Sharma, an eyewitness, informed that a large stone fell from the road on the tractor loaded with cement and cane, and the tractor also overturned. The injured Kumal has been brought to Lumbini Medical College Prabhas for treatment.
According to locals, a dozer was digging the road in the upper part. Deputy Superintendent of Police Sunil Malla informed that police station Prabhas is conducting further investigation.
