A tipper driver died in a tipper accident in Palpa's Siddhababa area on Thursday evening. District Police Office Palpa has informed that the driver, 26-year-old Prabhakar Yadav of Siyari Rural Municipality-2 of Rupandehi, died in an accident near Tinau Rural Municipality-3, Dobhan Siddhababa Damside.

An empty tipper No. 1A 2517 had an accident while coming from Butwal towards Palpa. Deputy Superintendent of Police of the District Police Office, Sunil Malla, has informed that the tipper's tire got punctured and went out of control, and it fell about 65 meters below the road on the banks of the Tinau river. The driver Yadav was seriously injured in the accident and the police team rescued him and sent him to Lumbini Regional Hospital Butwal. The injured Yadav, who was taken to the provincial hospital, was declared brought dead by the police, police said.
