The armed police has completed child-friendly mural writing and painting workshops to enhance children's learning at two child development centers in border villages.
In front of the school building, pictures of national symbols, national anthem, names of months and days are written in English and Nepali. Similarly, letters from 'A' to 'Gya' and 'A' to 'Z', numbers from zero to 9, letters in Nepali and English and letters from 'A' to 'Ah' are written. Narender KC, Ganapati Sub-inspector of Armed Police No. 28, said that the child-friendly wall writing was done with the aim of introducing the initial letter through wall pictures and increasing the love for reading. 
As part of the armed police program with the border residents, writing was done on the walls of Dalpur Child Development Center in Sudurpaschim Vijaynagar Rural Municipality-5 and Ujjwalpur Child Development Center in Ward No. 6 of the said rural municipality. The armed police painted graffiti with the help of color and manpower.
Similarly, Maharajgunj municipality-8 Kajarhawa and ward no. 10 A two-day free eye camp has been conducted in Hardauna. Under the armed police program with border residents, 125 people in Kajarhawa and 160 people in Hardauna were examined and distributed free medicine by 28 number of armed police.
In the two-day camp, 95 cataract patients were identified for surgery. Superintendent KC said that only 32 of them will undergo eye surgery. He said that 32 people will be operated free of charge at Siddhartha Eye Hospital located in Taulihwa, the headquarters, within a day or two.
