The state government has decided to recommend the state chief to convene the sixth session of the Lumbini state assembly on 31st Baisakh. The government has also decided to publicize the government's policies and programs for the coming year on May 4.

Lumbini Province Physical Infrastructure Development Minister Bhumishwar Dhakal said that the cabinet meeting held on Wednesday under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Chetnarayan Acharya decided to recommend for calling the session at 1 pm on the same day.

Similarly, the government has also decided to publicize the government's policies and programs for the coming year on May 4. The state government ended the fifth session on February 7. 11 meetings were held in the meeting which started from the 16th of January. The 11th meeting passed the Lumbini Research and Training Institute Bill and the Financial Procedure and Financial Responsibility Bill.

Similarly, the bill to amend the Provincial Civil Service Act, 2080, which was passed by the fourth session of the provincial assembly and sent back by the provincial head, and the bill on the formation, operation and service conditions of the local civil service were also passed by the fifth session.
