Daniel Meuli, Ambassador of Switzerland to Nepal, met with Social Development Minister Janmjay Timilsina of Lumbini Province Government at the ministry on Wednesday.
During the meeting, there was a detailed discussion about the overall social development of the province, especially the improvement of the quality of education, promotion of technical and vocational education and the possibility of friendly cooperation, according to the Secretariat of Minister Timilsina.
Ambassador Meuli said in the meeting that the government of Switzerland is willing to support the improvement of the education sector.
Minister Timilsina urged that international cooperation is necessary to make the education system of Lumbini province technology-friendly, employment-oriented and inclusive. The Secretariat of the Minister said that Ambassador Meuli gave a positive answer.
