A woman has been arrested with brown sugar in Dang. While searching an electric vehicle number 1 B 4332 going from Ghorahi to Pyuthan on Tuesday evening in Pyuthan Bhalubang road section of Rapti Rural Municipality-1, Pulchok, the 20-year-old Sarita Sarki of Rapti-2, Barahkhuti was arrested with brown sugar.
Based on a tip-off that drugs were being transported in the vehicle, the police team deployed from the area police office, Bhalubang, conducted a search and found 2 grams of 580 milligrams of brown sugar-like substance that Sarki had hidden in his underwear.
District Police Spokesperson DSP Chakra Bahadur Shah informed that Sarki is being detained and further investigations are being conducted.
