The body of a man missing for three days has been found in Rupandehi. The dead body of Gopal Tandon of Tilottama-2 Shankarnagar of the district was found on Monday.

Tandon, 20 years old, was found dead along with his motorcycle in a pit made to install a monopole by removing the high tension line located in Butwal sub-metropolitan ward number-11. The police said that Tandon fell into a ditch when his motorcycle was riding uncontrollably at night.

DSP Indra Bahadur Rana of the area police office, Butwal, said that the motorcycle number Lu 48 P 3117 driven by Tandon was found. "The family filed a petition that the young man was missing on Sunday,"  He said, 'It is seen from the preliminary investigation that the motorcycle which was driven at a high speed at around 2:00 am went over the mud mound and fell into the ditch. Other investigation of the incident is underway.

Tandon's body has been taken to Lumbini Regional Hospital in Butwal for post-mortem.
