Service started from burn ward of Bheri Hospital

The service has started from burn ward in Bheri Hospital from Sunday. Health and Population Minister Pradeep Paudel inaugurated the burn ward and surgical wing at Bheri Hospital.

Minister Poudel also handed over free vaccines to Bheri Hospital to protect sickle cell and thalassemia victims from infectious diseases. Secretary of the Ministry of Health Dr. Vikas Devkota and others were present.

A 6-bed burn ward and a 14-bed surgical wing have been put into operation in the hospital's new building. With this, it is said that the treatment of fire victims will be easier.

Similarly, Health Secretary Dr. Devkota mentioned that the Ministry has worked carefully for the expansion and development of the health sector. Recently, he said, along with the expansion of hospital services, the ministry has also paid attention to manpower and equipment management. 

hospital's medical superintendent Dr. Nirajan Subedi informed about the improvements and achievements in the hospital in the last four months. In that order, he said that 13 services have been expanded. 

"We are working to expand our services based on the needs of limited resources," he said. said, "It is our wish that patients who come to the hospital should not return for treatment."
