The body of a newborn baby was found in Tulsipur on Wednesday afternoon. The body of a 9-month-old girl was found in the Belnyadanda nursery located in Tulsipur sub-metropolitan city-14, Tulsipur area police office informed.
Locals informed the police after seeing the body. After receiving the information, the police team under the leadership of Police Inspector Vinodraj Khatri reached the spot and sent the Lass to Rapti Provincial Hospital Tulsipur for post-mortem, Tulsipur informed.
Police Inspector Khatri said that in the preliminary study, it looks like the body was buried in a ditch 23 days ago and it may have been taken out by some wild animal. He informed that further investigation is being conducted as to who threw the baby and why.
