Due to the fire in the medical store of Bheri Hospital in Nepalganj, Banke, the services except for emergency services have been closed on Sunday and Monday.
Hospital's Medical Superintendent (Mesu) Dr. Nirajan Subedi informed that due to the fire that happened on Saturday, the work of patient examination and lab service was stopped at the OPD for two days .
Mesu Dr. had to close the service except for emergencies for two days to clean it. Subedi said.
On Saturday, a fire broke out in the medical store (a room that stores daily consumables in the hospital) in the OPD building . OPD building, medical store and pharmacy were damaged in the fire .
It is estimated that there was a fire due to a power cut from the refrigerator storing the vaccine and it is estimated that the damage was around 3-4 million. Subedi informed.
