The body of one of the three missing children has been found in Danav River in Rupandehi, while two others are still missing. Deputy Superintendent of Police Suraj Karki, spokesperson of the District Police Office, said that the body of 14-year-old Rajan Yadav was found near the place where he drowned.

Three children from Sano Ardaula of Lumbini Cultural Municipality-2 went to swim in Danava River near the village with their friends. Ward President Eenamullah Fakir informed that the three reached the deep part of the river while bathing near Bagaha Baba Mandir.

Even though the original home of the child found dead is the same, he lived with his parents in Sanamaina of Ruppendehi . He came back to his original home only two days ago as it was school holidays.

Deputy Superintendent of Police Karki informed that the missing child is being searched for.

13-year-old Umesh Yadav, 14-year-old Rajan Yadav and 12-year-old Mannu Harijan, who live in the same ward, went missing while swimming in Danav river in Ardaula, Lumbini Cultural Municipality-2 this afternoon.
