The police have arrested 3 people from Rolpa involved in killing a dog by hanging it on a tree.
According to the police, 20-year-old Sunder Pariyar, 18-year-old Dumbar Pun and an 11-year-old boy from Lungri Rural Municipality-7 of Rolpa, who were involved in the said charge, were taken into custody by the area police office Sulichaur from Lungri Rural Municipality-7 Harjang on Sunday morning.
The police searched for a dog in Kwachibang, Harjang after a video of it being hanged from a tree was published on social media.
Rolpa Police Chief Deputy Superintendent of Police Bharat Lama said that the police have been mobilized from Jhilangile Police Station and Area Police Office Sulichaur in Lungri to investigate the incident. A police team of 7 was deployed to investigate. Police Inspector Rohit Kumar Shahi, Information Officer of Rolpa Police said that further investigation is ongoing.
