After India introduced compulsory identity card to prevent illegal infiltration, Nepal has also enforced the rule and tightened the border area. A rule has been implemented for those entering and exiting Nepal from India on the basis of identity cards.

Now this rule has been implemented in Baghaiyatal Rural Municipality-2 Futaha Naka. Armed Police Superintendent Man Bahadur Shahi said that this rule will be implemented at all checkpoints in Bardia from Wednesday. The Bardia administration has implemented this rule after the identity card became mandatory at the Indian border crossing a few months ago.

Stating that India has implemented this rule to prevent terrorism and prevent infiltration, an officer of SSB said that such illegal activities will be controlled through the cooperation of security officials of both countries.

Chief District Officer Rudradevi Sharma said that after the introduction of identity cards, illegal activities will stop and that everyone traveling through India and Nepal has been instructed to show identity cards to subordinate security agencies .

The administration has already instructed its subordinate security agencies to look at the identity card. Nepali security officials believe that smuggling will be reduced after the implementation of this rule.
