The team of Gorkha-Jitgarhi Padayatra, which started from Gorkha Darbar Hanuman Bhanjyang of the Nepali Army, arrived in Palpa on Tuesday.
The team that set out on the walk was welcomed by Palpa District Coordination Committee Chief Tankanath Khanal, Rampur Municipality Mayor Raman Bahadur Thapa, Chief District Officer Toynarayan Subedi and others at Keladighat on the border of Palpa and Syangja.
The team with a platoon of Guruji dressed in traditional costumes and national and various Prithvi Narayan Shah army company flags started from Gorkhadarbar on 28 March.
As part of the conservation campaign of historical palaces, forts, forts and footpaths, the Nepali Army has organized this walk from Gorkha Darbar to Jitgarhi for the third time in collaboration with local levels. The team from Gorkha will reach the historic Jitgarhi Fort on 7th Baisakh through Tanahun, Syangja, Palpa.
Palpa will stay in Devisthan of Rampur municipality, Sitakunda of Darcha, Beldanda, Siluva, Jawgadi, Birkot. Similarly, it will travel to Mathagadi through Bakumgarhi, Humin, Devinagar, Jhadeva, Jagat, Gothadi in the east. From Gothadi, we will trek to Banstari Prabhas via Jhadeva, Marmara, Sikarkot, Sarai Madi Damkada. From Lamdanda to Tansen and again Prabhas will stay. There is a program to reach from Prabhas to Dobhan via Dumre, Masyam, Marek. Ganapati Bhupend Gurung of the famous Mahindra Dal Gana of the Nepalese Army is planning to pass the flag from Dobhan to the Taradal Gana of Butwal and participate in the Jitgarhi Victory Festival.
Srinath established in unification with national flag, Kalibaks, Bardwani, Sabuj, old Gorakh and Jitgarhi battle participating Gurubaks Gulm are participating . Gorkha's Ripumardan Gana, Tanahun's Ruru Bhairavadal Gana, Kali Bhanjan Gana, Rajdal Gana, The Famous Mahindradal Gana and Rupandehi's Taradal Gana will participate in the walk. Chief District Officer along with Head of Security Agency, District Coordination Committee, Rampur Municipality, Nisdi, Purvkhola, Rambha, Mathagadhi Rural Municipality, Tansen Municipality and Tinau Rural Municipality have helped.
