Resunga symbol is made in Tamghas market. A symbol of Resunga has been made at Lakurimanch, the district headquarters, Tamghas, a religious, historical and tourist site.
Among the symbols, the Resunga area visible from Tamghas, Resunga Yagyashala, Sringe sage, Rama drawing water by shooting an arrow, Hanuman, deer and leopard etc. have been made as mural symbols.
Nar Bahadur Vick, the owner of BK Art Gallery, who is in charge of the construction, informed that the scene of Garuda, which is now recognized in Resunga area, after fighting with the monster, churning the sea and bringing nectar to that area, is being constructed. Along with him, two skilled painters are currently working on artistic murals.
Resunga Municipality has entrusted BK Art Gallery for the production of murals at 375 rupees per square foot. Municipal engineer Krishna Koirala informed that the municipality is going to work on murals in an area of 1,600 square feet.
Currently, murals are being created in front of the district administration office. Khildhwaj Panthi, head of Resunga Municipality, said that soon after this, mural painting will be done in front of Nepal Telecom and in front of Resunga Municipality. "We have made this idea to promote tourism," he said, "We have made a symbol of Resunga in Tamghas market to support the Go Walk Resunga campaign." Resunga Municipality has been conducting the 'Go Walk Resunga' campaign since last year to attract tourists to Resunga.
Painter Nar Bahadur Vick, who has recently reached Korea and worked on murals, has done this work in the main cities, including Kathmandu, Tilottama, Ramgram and Resunga municipalities.
