One person died and one person was injured in a motorcycle accident in Bagnaskali Rural Municipality-1, Chirtungdhara Rideanda under Siddharth Highway.

According to the District Police Office Palpa, 41-year-old Padam Bahadur Darlami of Tansen Municipality-6 died in a motorcycle accident on Lu 61 P 7636 on his way from Ghorbanda of Chirtungdhara to Bertung. 18-year-old Sandeep Darlami, son of motorcyclist Darlami, was injured.

The driver Darlami was seriously injured in the accident and was taken to the United Mission Hospital in Tansen for treatment. Deputy Superintendent of Police Information Officer Sunil Malla of the District Police Office informed that he died during treatment.

Sandeep is being treated at Mission Hospital. The hospital said that his condition is normal. The police said that the accident occurred when the motorcycle suddenly turned backwards while going uphill. The district police office and police station Bertung have conducted further investigation into the accident.
