A 15-year-old boy drowned in a river in Gulmi and died. Deputy Superintendent of Police Ganga Bahadur Saru informed that Rajesh Kumal of Dhurkot Rural Municipality-6 drowned while swimming in the Chaldi River near Sistung Fant on Monday afternoon.
Rajesh, son of Raju Kumal, went to the river to swim with his three sisters. After the incident, only the sisters came to know about the incident when they reached home with their brother's clothes in their hands. Suspicious, when the family and neighbors went to the river, Rajesh's body was found dead.
According to Shalikram Aryal, a member of the ward, Rajesh used to study in class 6. The body will be sent for post-mortem after the police team collects the evidence of the incident.
