The police arrested one person with a brown sugar-like substance. One person was arrested with 1 gram of 290 milligrams from Baghaiyatal rural municipality-7 Karnalipur.

According to the police, the substance was found when 22-year-old Ramu Khadka of Banke Kohalpur-4 Bikash Nagar, who was riding a bicycle through Balaigaon, the border market of India, was checked for suspicion. Two pieces of plastic-wrapped substance that looked like brown sugar were found inside the jacket  District Police Office, Bardia Information Officer and DSP Rishiram Ghartimagar said.

On Friday, Khadka was taken into custody and the district court extended 5 days for the necessary investigation. The police said that they will send the forensic science laboratory to Dhangadhi to test the substance.
