On Tuesday night, the problem tiger was captured from the community forest in Janaknagar of Geruwa Rural Municipality, which is located in the central area of Bardia National Park. Two weeks ago, after entering the village and eating cows, bulls and goats from the cowshed, the locals were terrified.
Ashokram, the head of the park, said that the tiger was captured from the community forest. With the help of the technical team of the National Nature Conservation Fund, the Nepali Army and the staff of the Bardia Park, it was taken under control on Tuesday night and kept at the park's headquarters in Thakurdwara.
Head of National Nature Conservation Fund, Bardia, Ajit Tumfa Hamphe said that the captured tiger was a male. He said that camera trapping has been done since elephant mobilization. In the absence of food, tigers come out and eat things and attack people, so it is said to be problematic. Bardia Park sources said that the tiger will be kept in a cage for a few days and released in the corridor of the park.
