Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli is going to come to Arghakhanchi today to inaugurate the 'Panini Tapobhumi Conference' which will be held at the place where sage Panini composed the Sanskrit grammar after penance.
According to the Secretariat of the Prime Minister, the program has been decided to come to Tapobhoomi by helicopter from Kathmandu at 11:30. Romanath Neupane, chief administrative officer of the village, said that there is a history of Panini Rishi who came to Khidim of Arghakhanchi hundreds of years ago from Lahore, Pakistan and composed Sanskrit grammar after doing penance in Panina forest of Panini Rural Municipality-1 and 2.
In the year 2076, the Nepal government has also included Panini Tapobhumi among the hundred destinations. The government of Lumbini Province is going to hold a conference in the joint project of Tourism Development Council, Nepal Tourism Board, Panini Rural Municipality of Arghakhanchi and Rainadevi Chhahara Rural Municipality of Palpa which is connected to the border.
Ramu Joshi, executive director of the Tourism Development Council, said that the purpose of the conference is to promote the dignity and importance of Panini Tapobhumi, which is the origin and composition of the world's ancient language, Sanskrit grammar. All the preparations for the
conference have been completed. Joshi said that on the first day, the political leadership will explain Panini and on the second day, there will be presentations about religious beginnings and Sanskrit scholars about the master plan of Tapobhumi.
He said that the aim of the conference is to protect the natural beauty of the forest area and bring Hinduism and Sanskrit language lovers from all over the world to Panenama and to develop tourism by creating a master plan.
Locals of Tapo Bhumi occasionally hold Maha Yagya, but this is the first time that such a big event has been organized. Due to lack of publicity, Tapobhumi has faded away. Provincial MP Ramji Prasad Ghimire said that this conference will outline the development of Panini and its importance will increase after the inauguration by the Prime Minister.
"Panini Tapobhumi has been placed in the hundred destinations by the Union Government," he said, "It should now be included in the World Heritage List." The climate and environment are suitable for study, yoga and meditation here. He argues that the union government should develop Tapobhoomi with infrastructure as a proud project.
The Panini rural municipality president Tekraj Neupane said that the national level conference will reawaken the ancient glory of Panini to spread awareness and spread the importance of Panini to the world.
It will be discussed about the significance of Panini reciting the 14 sutras by giving boons to Panini during penance. Neupane said that in the conference, there will be presentations by experts about the meaning of Panini Tapobhumi and its impact on the development of Sanskrit language, Eastern philosophy and its positive impact on human civilization.
