It has been revealed that the employees of Transport Management Office Nepalgunj are collecting lakhs of rupees monthly by distributing fake driver's license.
This mystery came to light after the Abuse of Authority Investigation Commission arrested 4 people including Shakti Thakur, a computer operator working in the Traffic Management Office, Nepalgunj.
Based on various complaints, the Commission's spokesperson Rajendra Kumar Paudel informed that a team jointly deployed from the Office of the Commission for Investigation of Abuse of Authority, Tangal and the Commission's Office Butwal, Liaison Office, Nepalgunj, arrested them on Wednesday.
Computer operator Shakti Thakur working in Transport Management Office Nepalgunj, Assistant Computer Operator (jaildari) Manoj Giri, Deputy Subba Mukundaraj KC of Domestic and Small Industries Office Nepalgunj and Sharad Kumar Gorathoki, proprietor of Mama Bhanja Motor Driving Center Nepalgunj, have been detained from various places in Banke district along with the electronic devices they used, the commission said.
