About 5 bigha of wheat field, which is being harvested in Yashodhara Rural Municipality-4, Pokharbhitwa, has been destroyed by fire.

Chief Inspector Navraj Devkota of the Armed Police Dungari BOP said that the fire that started suddenly from the field of local farmer Hazrat Ali around 3 pm on Saturday resulted in the loss of more than 300 quintals of wheat crop of 20 farmers. According to the Armed Police, there was a loss of more than 10 lakhs due to the fire.

The fire was brought under control with the help of fire brigade, security personnel and local residents who came from Kapilvastu municipality.
