The fire that has been raging for three days in the forest of Rimigha Danda under Rambha rural municipality of Palpa has not yet been brought under control. On the road from Garunga to Rimigha in Rambha Rural Municipality-3, Pipaldanda, the power line was cut and the strong winds and strong winds could not be brought under control.
The forest guard Shiv Thapa informed that the power line extended to Rimigha lake near Jharek forest was cut off and there was a fire three days ago. According to the locals, the residents of Garunga and Kuwadi villages tried to control the fire. Forest guard Thapa said that they were not allowed to come towards the settlement, but there was a problem in extinguishing it after reaching the forest. Locals as well as forest staff have tried to put it out, but they have not been able to control it.
Rimigha forest historical and natural tourist area Rimigha Lake has reached a state of destruction. Wildfires have destroyed natural vegetation, animals and birds.
Ward president Chet Bahadur Sunari informed that there was a problem due to the large forest and Bhirpakha to control the fire. He said that the fire coming towards the settlement has been brought under control.
There are more than 150 hectares in the burnt forest area of Foxingkot, Foxingdanda and Rimigha Pospakha Community Forest of Pipaldanda.
