Nepal Federation of Journalists Palpa has sent a memorandum to the office of the Prime Minister and the Council of Ministers through the District Administration Office Palpa to bring all those who attacked the media houses and media houses during the demonstration of the royalist group to justice and to provide reasonable compensation to the media houses and media houses that were damaged as well as to treat the injured journalists.

Kamalraj Timilsena, president of Journalist Federation Palpa branch, submitted the memorandum on Monday through the Chief District Officer of Palpa, Toynarayan Subedi.

On the 15th of Chait, during the violent demonstration in Kathmandu's Tinkune, a chaotic group damaged the office of Kantipur Television and Annapurna Post by pelting stones. While filming a

video, journalist Suresh Rajak was burnt to death and the vehicle of Himalaya Television was vandalized and damaged. Journalist Dinesh Gautam was attacked and his leg was broken, and photojournalist Niraj Tamang's camera was lost, etc., the Federation of Nepalese Journalists has said that it is serious about the incident.

In the memorandum submitted through the Chief District Officer, it is demanded that a thorough investigation be conducted into the murder of the deceased journalist and that all those involved in the murder be prosecuted and compensation be paid to the family. Also, it has been demanded to bring all those who attacked the media and media persons to the court of law and to make reasonable compensation to the media houses and media persons who caused damage as well as to make arrangements for the treatment of the injured journalists.
