13-year-old Suresh Raskoti of Tinau Rural Municipality-5, Churchre, Palpa, died on Wednesday while fishing in the Dumre river. Lal Bahadur Raskoti's son Suresh was crushed to death by a stone while fishing, District Police Office Palpa said.
Locals said that Raskoti, who had gone fishing in Dumre river near Siddharth highway, was hit by stones. The police team deployed from the local and police station Prabhas rescued Raskoti and sent him to Lumbini Medical College Prabhas for treatment, the doctor declared him dead during the treatment.
District Police Office Deputy Superintendent of Police Sunil Malla has informed that further investigation is underway.
