1 person has died in Gulmi after falling on an electric wire placed to drive away monkeys. According to District Police Office Gulmi, 60-year-old Chandrakala Kumal of Musikot Municipality-7 Paltar.

Karna Bahadur Kumal, the husband of the deceased Chandrakala, in turn got injured by falling on the electric wire kept to drive away the monkeys. 

SP Rajan Bhujel said that Kumal, who was injured due to electric shock, died during treatment at Lumbini Wami Hospital.
