A woman died in Musikot here after being electrocuted by an electric wire placed to drive away monkeys.
60-year-old Chandrakala Kumal of Musikot Municipality-7 Paltar died due to electrocution, informed SP Rajan Bhujel, Head of District Police Office Gulmi.
Karna Bahadur, the husband of the deceased Kumal, connected an electric wire to his own garden to drive away the monkeys and Chandrakala was electrocuted while working, police said. She was electrocuted and was taken to Lumbini Wami Hospital Musikot where she was declared dead.
The police said that a team led by Police Inspector Rajkumar Thapa from District Police Office Gulmi has gone there for further investigation of the incident.
