According to Police Inspector Dharmaraj Khatri of the local police office, the motorcycle met with an accident while the motorcycle was overtaking the car.

Even though the motorcyclist was taken to the Lumbini Regional Hospital for immediate treatment, the doctor declared him dead, said Police Inspector Khatri. The police said that the car driver and the car were taken into custody after the incident.
