More than 10,000 students from Banke district are going to participate in this year's Secondary Education Examination (SEE). Since the last few years, the number of students giving SEE every year in Banke has been increasing.
Head of Education Development and Coordination Unit Banke Dhansudan Choulagain said that 10 thousand 416 students from 8 municipalities of the district will participate in the examination which will start from the 7th of Chait.
According to him, 10,416 students including 5,179 female students and 5,237 male students from 104 community schools and 102 institutional schools and 206 schools will take the exam.
43 children from two correctional homes in the district are also going to give SEE this year. Shyam Rana, the Head of Correctional Home Office, informed that 33 juvenile correctional officers in Jayendu Correctional Home, Ward No. 6, Asmanpur, Duduwa Rural Municipality, and 10 juvenile correctional officers of Nauvasta Correctional Home, Baijnath Rural Municipality, Ward No. 3, Nauvasta, are going to have an SEE day.
Similarly, 315 regular and 59 grade increased 374 technical students from 10 public schools will also participate.
This year, the maximum number of 36 examination centers has been designated in Nepalgunj sub-metropolitan city, 10 in Kohalpur municipality, four in Raptisonari village, four in Baijnath, four in Khajura and one each in Narainapur, Duduwa and Janaki rural municipalities.
