One month training on forest conservation and management in Butwal

One month basic training on forest protection and management has started in Butwal on Sunday. The Forest Research and Training Center at Butwal in Rupandehi has started a 35-day training aimed at forest guards.

Inaugurating the program during a program on Sunday, Minister of Forest and Environment of Lumbini Province, Devkaran Prasad Kalwar said that the investment made for the employees should be fruitful. He said that since forest guards are employees who work very closely with citizens, they should be sensitive and disciplined. "The goal of any training is determined," he said.

Minister Kalwar said that this type of training will not only develop the capacity of the employees but will also give them knowledge about what kind of role they will be able to play in terms of providing services to the people. In order not to limit the training to training, this time a jury has also been appointed for the evaluation of the participants and the award system has also been arranged, so he suggested that it should be accepted accordingly.

On that occasion, Acting Director General of Forest Directorate Butwal, Yagya Murthy Khanal, expressed his belief that the training which was attended by the forest guards of the 13 Division Forest Offices of the province would give meaningful results. He said that the employees who have received the training can exchange experience with their colleagues in their offices and subordinate offices and it will have a positive effect on the work of the forest office as a whole.

Jitendra Singh Khadka, Acting Director of Forest Research and Training Center Butwal, said that the government and the training center have invested heavily in training. According to him, it costs 1 lakh rupees to provide training to one guard. He said that the main objective is that the participating employees can be sustained in the service because the training conducted by spending the budget will also be expected.

The Forest Research and Training Center has informed that 25 people are participating in the 35-day training.
