Rolpa Jaljala Transport Pvt Ltd honored Kantipur worker Kashiram Dangi. Being in Rolpa, he was honored for contributing to the community through the field of journalism in a fair and continuous manner.
Journalists Khem Budha, Mahesh Neupane, Mansingh Vishwakarma, Dinesh Subedi, Lokendra Chand and others, along with journalist Dangi, held the second session and fourth general meeting of the Pvt. Chairman Tejvikram Rawat said that journalists and drivers, employees and businessmen of Pvt. Ltd. were also honored. Dangi, the founding chairman of Journalist Federation Rolpa, has been associated with Kantipur for more than two decades.
Even during the then armed conflict that started and ended in Rolpa, he did journalism without interruption. Despite being targeted by the then Maoists and the state while reporting on the conflict, he has been continuously working in this field. Along with conflict reporting, he is doing deep reporting on conflict management, development, human rights, inclusion, tourism and social issues.
Meanwhile, Shankur Kumar Bista has been elected as the chairman of Pvt Ltd. Thagendra Prasad KC as Senior Vice President, Madan Giri as Vice President, Barman Budhamgar as General Secretary, Krishna Lama as Secretary, Bhupendra Sharma and Tekendra Ghartimagar as Welfare Secretaries, Surendra Thapa as Treasurer, Bharat Kumar Bista as Co-Treasurer. Similarly, Shalikram Bista, Bhakta Bahadur Basnet, Jhapendra Damai, Hemraj Khanal, Balrajsingh Thakuri and Hemraj Khatri were selected as members. Founder President Pushpa Shrestha said that all were elected unopposed. There are about one and a half hundred members associated with Pvt.
